      Description

      Improve Gear Functionality. Over time, the gears in your vehicle’s differential experience wear and tear. This wear leads to the spaces between the gears growing, causing inefficiencies in operation. Happily, you don’t need to spend money on a gear replacement kit if you have OMIX’s Jeep Wrangler Dana 30/44 Differential Shim Kit. Created for use with Dana 30 and Dana 44 differentials, this kit contains 12 shims of varying thicknesses. Placing these shims between your gears reduces the gaps between them, allowing the gears to operate at their original level.

      Quality Construction. There’s nothing especially fancy going on with the construction of the shims in this kit. Made using tough metal, they look like washers and are durable enough to withstand the friction caused by gears turning for several years.

      Direct Installation. Though shims are typically not included in your stock differential assembly, installing this kit doesn’t require you to make modifications. Still, installation requires you to access your vehicle’s differential, meaning professional expertise and equipment may be needed.

      Five Years of Protection. Covered by a 5-Year warranty, you can return any part of this kit that displays signs of material or manufacturing defects. This is a limited warranty so check the manufacturer’s website for details of any exclusions.
