      Description

Provides Optimal Traction. Go off-roading with confidence with an Exo Grappler All Terrain Tire. It doesn't matter if you're navigating through a muddy forest, blazing through a desert sand adventure, or battling a snow-slicked road. The NITTO Exo Grappler tire's specialized design is sure to get you through any challenging drive.

Innovative Tread Designs. NITTO's Exo Grappler tire features gear-shaped block edges and spiral shaped stone ejectors that minimize stone retention and stone drilling. Meanwhile, the tire's sipes and overall tread pattern allow for efficient water and slush evacuation. When combined, these features let you safely navigate through stones, sand, and even snow.

Tough Construction. Aside from performing well for most types of terrain and harsh weather conditions, the NITTO Exo Grappler All Terrain Tires is also built to outlast your regular off-road tire. That's because a special mix of rubber, high-strength polymers, and wear resistant materials make this tire cut and chip resistant. At the same time, the 3-ply sidewall and large sidewall lugs provide additional puncture resistance.

Application. The NITTO Exo Grappler All Terrain Tire is compatible with all 1987-2018 Jeep Wrangler models.

What is the best gear ratio to run for larger tires? When you increase the diameter of your tires, your vehicle's engine has to work harder to turn them. Naturally, this will lead to increased fuel consumption and reduced performance. So, when upgrading to a set of larger tires you should re-gear your rig to regain this lost acceleration, performance and fuel economy.

Find your original tire size and gear ratio using the chart listed below, the intersection should be your approximate RPMs at 65 MPH. Then find your new tire size and follow it across to the closest RPM to your original tires, this will be your gear ratio choice.

This chart is based on driving at 65 MPH with a 1:1 gear ratio and a manual transmission in 4th gear. Please note if your vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission your RPMs will be higher due to normal transmission and the torque converter slippage. In overdrive your RPMs will be approximately 15% to 30% less than indicated.
