      Description

For Streets and Mountains. Switching back and forth effortlessly from cruising on the highway to driving fast on a soft dirt trail to moderate mudding, the Nitto 33x12.50R20 Ridge Grappler Tire is a heavy-duty hybrid giving your Jeep Grand Cherokee a mix of all-terrain and mud-terrain skills. While this tire can be used on a daily driver – thanks to a special variable pitch pattern that makes it ride smoothly, quietly, and reliably on pavement – it's meant to get out and play in the dirt often, too.

Trail-Ready Features. The shoulder grooves have alternating widths and lengths, encouraging mud to slip out and keep the tire clear for better traction, while the lateral Z-grooves put extra biting edges to work building grip in loose materials. Scoop-like shoulder serrations and rugged sidewall blocks complete the powerful array of high traction features.

Low-Flex Stability. The Nitto Ridge Grappler Tire in its 33x12.50R20 format offers 3,000 lbs maximum load at a maximum pressure of 80 psi, and keeps its strong traction both fully inflated and aired down. The reinforced block foundations, included on the sidewall blocks too, keep the tire stable and greatly reduce flex for better steering response under load. The tires are made tough and have high chip and tear resistance.

Application. Any Jeep Grand Cherokee can be equipped with Nitto 33x12.50R20 Ridge Grappler Tires.

      Nitto FTW

I can’t express how much I love these tires! They look amazing, ride amazing, and are incredibly quiet for an AT!!! So far, 2,000 miles, I have driven on the interstate, on dirt roads, in the mountains, and in snow and they have worked wonderfully!

Great wheels but the finish scratches easy.

One wheel showed up scratched and others have more scratches every time I look. I haven't even taken them off road yet. If you get these don't breathe on them too hard or they'll scratch.

Great tires: 34 inch actual height

These are great tires, aggressive tread pattern, quiet on the highway. I put these on a stock Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK with just a simple leveling kit (2 inch front, 1 inch rear) and it looks great. It's certainly not the lift kit you need for offroading - any serious articulation will certainly rub something or rip off the wheel fenders. But, for normal, everyday driving or the occasional curb climbover, this is more than sufficient. FYI: At 40 psi, when you factor in the weight of the vehicle and resulting tire squish on the ground, the ACTUAL height of these tires is 34 inches. The ROLLING diameter is slightly less (because the "squish" is only on the bottom). You'll need to recalibrate your speedo if you want an accurate speed reading and correct shift points (assuming you have an automatic). Jscan is a nice app for this. Also, with this wheel/tire/lift combo, you might need to get adjustable control arms to get the caster adjustment set up correctly. Without caster adjustment, it's noticably more "anxious" at higher speeds. Don't bother taking your lifted/modified Jeep to a "regular" shop for a wheel alignment. Most of those places are only allowed to set the factory/OEM settings for camber, caster, and toe. "That's our policy". They don't want to take any risks and end up in court. Instead, take your vehicle to a real place that knows modified/lifted vehicles to get everything set up and dialed in. Hope this info is helpful to someone!

There’s good reason why this sells so well

I’m a newbie at off-road courses and obstacles. Took reviews to heart and made the investment in these. Went to Drummond Island and finished the badge trail and then to Northwoods Jeep Jamboree. These tires didn’t disappoint through the deep mud, over shale steps, logs and boulders. They are also fairly quiet on the road in comparison to my old mud tires. A rainstorm hit during a long road trip and I expected some hydroplaning but was pleasantly surprised with minimal control loss. I purchased these with rims and had them mounted and balanced so I’d be ready to go. Money well spent.

      Great tires!

These look great! I have aftermarket wheel wells installed otherwise they wouldn't fit but after the typical install at my local tire shop I couldn't be happier!
