The gear ratio of this front and rear ring-and-pinion kit will ensure that your RPMs are pumped up to accommodate an increase in the amount of pounds you can tow.
Made for Optimal Longevity. This kit is no slouch on the road. The components are CNC-machined from high-grade 8620 steel and are factory triple-lapped for a precise fit. In addition, the kit is heat-treated and tested for Rockwell hardness, thus ensuring that no component will break down, bend, or corrode under the harshest of road and weather conditions.
2-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty. Nitro Gear & Axle warrants that this ring and pinion set will be free from manufacturer defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
Expert-Level Installation. The front and rear ring-and-pinion sets come with master install kits, which comprise all that you need—including bearings, nuts, shims, and spacers—to complete installation. The process should take about up to 4 hours of your time.
Application. The Nitro Gear & Axle Dana 30F/44R Ring Gear and Pinion Kit - 4.88 Gears fits all 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models. It is sold as a kit. This product requires a new front carrier.
