    Description

Get Out of the Roughest Spots. You won't have to worry about getting stuck in rough spots or tough mud pits. The Mudclaw M/T Tire is made specifically for extreme mud terrain. This tire features multi-dimensional tread, staggered shoulder blocks, and interlocking thread lugs for great traction on your Wrangler.

Function. The Mudclaw mud terrain tire works great for most off-road tracks and offers excellent traction and grip even in soft soil. It also fairs exceptionally well in most street conditions, providing you with a reliable but aggressive tire. This Mudclaw tire is pinned for studs, so you'll have the option down the road to upgrade your Jeep for full winter traction.

Aggressive Style. Not only will you be upgrading your Jeep with heavy duty tires to conquer any terrain, you'll have an additional option in style for your rig; These tires feature white outlined lettering on one side, and blacked out lettering on the other, allowing you pick a classic or aggressive look depending on how you mount these.

Application. This Mudclaw M/T Tire fits all 1997-2018 Jeep Wrangler models. Please choose your correct size from the options listed above.

What is the best gear ratio to run for larger tires? When you increase the diameter of your tires, your vehicle's engine has to work harder to turn them. Naturally, this will lead to increased fuel consumption and reduced performance. So, when upgrading to a set of larger tires you should re-gear your rig to regain this lost acceleration, performance and fuel economy.

Find your original tire size and gear ratio using the chart listed below, the intersection should be your approximate RPMs at 65 MPH. Then find your new tire size and follow it across to the closest RPM to your original tires, this will be your gear ratio choice.

This chart is based on driving at 65 MPH with a 1:1 gear ratio and a manual transmission in 4th gear. Please note if your vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission your RPMs will be higher due to normal transmission and the torque converter slippage. In overdrive your RPMs will be approximately 15% to 30% less than indicated.
