Description
Looking for rockers guards that will hold up to whatever you throw at them? The Motobilt 2018-Current Jeep JLU 4 door Unlimited frame mounted rocker guards provide the most protection to your Jeep JL 4 door body. Unlike other rocker guard protection that is bolted to the body and body mounts, these rock sliders are welded directly to the frame acting as a barrier between the jeep body and trail obstacles. When you contact a trail obstacle, the forces are transferred directly to the frame instead of the body of your vehicle. They are so tough you can use the rock rail as a jack point to lift your jeep up.
The frame mounts are constructed of 3/16” thick laser cut steel plate CNC formed to add strength. The frame mounts are essentially formed boxes that spread the load out on the frame as well as the tube attached to them. The mounts provide 4 times the surface area at the frame versus tubing mounts and gussets some other manufacturers offer. On the tubing side of the frame mount the surface area is spread out to 3 times what tube to tube would offer. The Motobilt Frame Mounted Rockers are the ultimate in strength and durability.
The tube slider portion of the JLU frame mounted rocker guards is 2” DOM steel tubing. The end caps and and center bracing are fabricated like the frame mounts from heavy duty 3/16” thick laser cut and formed steel plate. The rockers are shipped completely welded. They are shipped bare steel. Installing them will require welding and painting. If you opt to powder coat them test fit and know where you are going to put them to reduce chances of scratching them. Once powder coated you will need to grind the powder off of the edges that weld to the frame. After welding simply paint this area. We do not offer powder coating.
This part pairs well with the body cladding Unlimited Rocker Guards for Jeep JL 4 Door.
If you intend on taking your Jeep JLU on any extreme trail, you will need extreme body protection and these rock rails are a must have for ultimate protection.

Just what the YJ needed. These things are very well built and went in very easily by myself. I did new body mounts at the same time so it took a bit longer. I like the way they tie in to the body mounts, unlike some that just bolt to the tub. Motobuilt knows how to build stuff.

Top of the Line
If you need the utmost protection for the side of your Jeep look no further. These are super heavy duty, and offer superior protection. The only drawback is you have to paint/coat them yourself. I prepped, primed and painted mine as opposed to powder coating. I am hopeful I can touch them up easier with the painting, as opposed to powder coating. We will see.

Pretty Heavy Duty. You need to paint them yourself. They fit pretty well. They go up to about a 1/4" below the door curvature. There direction weren't specific to this product but were close enough to figure it out. You have to lift the body to let the slider s slide above two body spacers. It wasn't terrible. You loosen 4 bolts each side. You really should replace your fenders with this product or cut the plastic stock ones

Motobilt doesn’t disappoint.
Probably one of the best rocksliders you can get for your Jeep. These are heavy duty and go all the way to the frame and are even slotted for your HiLift Jack. They make the Jeep look awesome and I can’t wait to test them out on the trail. Definitely worth the money.

I purchased these crusher sliders for two reasons. 1 they will really stand up to extensive amounts of abuse. 2 they really look awesome. however, it saddens me i had to return them when mt build went in a new direction. I am not looking for a matching pair to fit my new 2023 gladiator Rubicon diesel
