Worried at first

Love the skid plate and am kind of sad that I am about to beat the snot out of it because it is so well-made. With that being said... When the hardware did not match the list on the instructions, I got worried. It appears that the included hardware was upgraded to include additional skid washers and ditched the Allen-head button-bolts (now I dont have to worry about rounding out or stripping them). Only issue I had was with one of the motor mount bolts when trying to install it from the top-down. I had to install it from the bottom because there was no way to get it to budge enough with a pry bar.

very easy install. I give this part 5 stars because it was a simple job to add this plate to beef up the rolling armor.

Great protection and fits with other M.O.R.E skidplates

Great protection and it fits with the M.O.R.E oil-pan/Transmission skid plate and the M.O.R.E Gas tank skid plate. Installation was a little more difficult than I expected, but in the end everything fit and protects the underside of my Jeep.

Feels substantial, does the job, good price!

This is the first skid plate we added to our factory skids and it felt very substantial when handling it. The manufacturer's install directions were confusing (we think they printed a photo backwards). But, once we figured that out, it was easy to install. Also, the manufacturer's nuts did not thread onto the bolts they provided. After much wrestling, we replaced the nuts with Grade 8, 1/2"-13 hex nuts. If you know those two things in advance, then the install isn't difficult. After the install, we took the jeep out rock crawling. We put a few scratches on it but, really, it has held up like a dream. I have a lot of confidence in this product.

It was a simple installation still need to pick up the engine skid but at least my transfer case is protected. Heavy duty steel

MORE TC Skidplate

Awesome plate that will give me piece of mind when I am rock crawling! Not too bad to install, I had to grind a few bolts that got damaged from rocks so I can remove them to install the new plate.

Skids of joy

The skid plate is heavy, and kind of cumbersome to install by yourself, but other than that it is awesome

Install was pretty simple and took about an hour. I did both the transfer case and the oil pan skid plate. I have access to a vehicle lift, which makes all things easier.
