Almost didn't fit, but I forced it.

This is a great dual battery option. I did cut where it said to cut, and the fuse box holder was still 1" too wide for the tray. I ended up trimming it off with a dremel because it did line up with the screws as expected. Not the greatest fit, but with some extra work it will fit.

      Solid Battery Tray

This battery tray is solid. Its definitely a tight fit, but that's to be expected. After a bit of finagling to get it in, I'm very happy with the results.

You need you to cut it!

The product is really nice and well made I just want to point out that a good deal of cutting is required to get the install to work after the cutting is complete and the product is installed it works great. I also decided not to cut the post coming out of the firewall as I had extra room due to the trays great size. It easily holds two stock batteries.

      Great product

I needed a second battery for the JL audio system I have. The sound system takes up enough space so adding a battery in the jeep would take away what little floor space my wrangler unlimited already has. The battery tray secured the second battery safely under the hood out of the way.

Not an easy bolt in solution.

This is not for the faint of heart. I'm an experianced mechanic and engineer. Significant cutting and trimming of the factory power control center and air box are required. There was not adequate clearance for the wiring harness connections when I followed the instructions. I trimmed further to allow the connection then fabricated protection for the harnesses. I would not recommend this to a friend.

Install went great, product fits great.

I made a custom hold down instead of using the straps but this is a great buy.

Hey guys, just to let you know I bought this for my jk (Australian version) and it doesn’t fit, our battery is located on the opposite side to the US version and the mounting holes are back to front, great quality but no fit...

      Fit great

The installation of this tray was pretty straight forward. Fits as designed, holds my two yellow top optimas. I modified the hold down strap to hold a solenoid. No problems and looks like it will last for a long time.
