Description
Get Rid of Scratches and Dings. Getting your finish scratched up is one of those inevitabilities you just have to accept, especially if you take your Wrangler out on an off-road adventure. And while deeper and larger scratches and dings are best dealt with via a paint job, for really minor damage, you have the Mopar 1/2-Ounce Touch-Up Paint Pen. This touch-up paint pen enables you to easily touch up any small scratches, chips, and dings, making them less noticeable even up close. What’s more, this paint pen is available in a wide range of factory colors, ensuring an even look when applied.
All-In-One Design. What makes this touch-up paint pen special is its all-in-one design. Starting from the top, this paint pen’s cover is equipped with an abrasive tip for prepping the scratch, making sure the paint adheres to the surface better. Then, you have the dual paint applicators consisting of a pen tip on the outside and a small brush on the inside. This way, you get to choose which applicator works best for you. Finally, the bottom of the pen is equipped with a clear coat and applicator, giving you a look that’s as close as you can get to the factory.
Efficient to Use. Using this touch-up paint pen is easy. First clean the chip, scratch, or ding you want to restore to get rid of any grease and dirt. You then use the abrasive tip to roughen up the scratch before applying the paint via the built-in applicator. You then let the paint dry before applying the clear coat. Once the clear coat is dry you could buff the area to get a more even look, although this step is optional. Please note that this paint pen’s various colors are based on the factory version. Therefore it is suggested you use your Jeep’s paint code as a guide to choosing the color you need.
Application. This Mopar 1/2-Ounce Touch-Up Paint Pen is for use on all Jeep Wrangler models.
