If you want to upgrade your 2007-2018 2-door Wrangler with the same side steps found on the Sahara trim, the Mopar Factory Style Black Molded Side Steps let you attach a pair – or replace damaged side steps on a Sahara. These steps can support a minimum of 225 lbs, featuring a weight-saving blend of steel and plastic. They bolt on using the mounting holes also used by the factory style rock sliders, which therefore can’t be mounted at the same time. The molded-in diamond tread pattern gives your footgear an ample traction surface regardless of how slippery conditions may be (mud, rain, snow, etc.).

Plastic Backed Up by Steel. The Mopar Factory Style Molded Side Steps feature an upper section made out of non-slip, high-impact plastic for light weight. The substructure is black powder-coated steel, as are the mounting brackets that bolt onto the frame. The textured black surface matches up well to the stock fender flares. Due to their mostly plastic construction, these side steps cannot be used as rock sliders and offer little protection.
