Not a good fit for Tacoma

Wasn't a good fit for my 3rd gen Tacoma, was a bit to large. However the everything was very well built and the hardware looked top notch too.

Really good product l, definitely recommend. Keeps transmission cool even at high speeds or when your doing a lot of heavy shifting

2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport

Seems very well made. It says it’s for 1st gen Tacoma direct fit but the supports it comes with made it a direct fit for my 3rd gen. Replaced the tiny stock cooler and it seems to help keep temps regulated better. 30 minutes to install. Currently working on a fan with controller to go with it! Quality piece and would recommend this cooler

Spend the money to get this one

Mishi Moto has a few other transmission coolers that are much less expensive like under $100 each and my friends have two of those one one friend has one and another friend has another and I’m telling you right now my truck is it responded way better My temperatures are way lower than theirs are and it was worth every extra dollar. Easy install

Kit came with almost everything needed to install on my 2020 4 cyl Tacoma. I had to purchase a 5/8 double barb end fitting to attach my oil line to the external cooler line. Other than that everything it came with worked for install. On my Tacoma I do not have a factory tow package so additional factory cooler. This allowed me the larger cooler to cover my whole radiator area and not have any clearance issues. I did have to remove the hood latch post to fit the new cooler in place but that is only a couple bolts and easy to remove and put back in place. Highly recommend!

Mishimoto transmission cooler

There are no YouTube videos so I had to improvise. But the product after putting it in fit great. In order to get it in I had to take the condenser out and unbolt some additional parts. Luckily I already had the radiator out so it was more simple to get it in. But so far it works great and I really like how it looks too.

Solid rad

93 YJ 4.0 5spd manual Fitment-identical to the OE radiator, install was straightforward, no mods needed to install it. All mounting and hose connections identical to OE rad. I did have to come up with my own plugs for the bottom transmission cooler tank. Weird, plugs are not provided but adapters are included for transmission lines; 4 couplers with 2 different size aluminum lines. Plugs are needed to prevent debris from getting into the trans oil cooler tank if it matters to you. Plastic press in plugs are included but only to prevent debris entry before use. I modified two coupler fittings; cut off the tubes, threaded the inside of the coupler nut, plugged it with a bolt and lock tight, installed the coupler nuts and properly plugged the oil tank. Quality- appears well made. I just recently installed the tank and don’t have many miles on it. Tank has lifetime warranty which is reason I purchased this one. No leaks at this time. My OE rad was leaking fluid under pressure at the top tank seals. Installation- exact fit. I changed the thermostat and hoses so this took a few hours to complete. You don’t need to remove the radiator shroud. There is enough room to r&i the new radiator with the shroud loose.
