Went on super easy in about 30 minutes. I check it every oil change. Collects a fair amount with mostly city miles

Quality parts and easy install

I've bought other Mishimoto oil catch cans in the past because of the quality, fit, and finish. This one was no different. They make quality parts and the install was easy.

Must have

Quick and easy install. I decided to also install a CAI on my 2.0L while I was at it. Together the install was less than an hour. Highly recommended.

Catch can

The fit and finish is beautiful. It took me a couple of days to install since the PCV valve is conveniently place between the back of the motor and the firewall, once I got a good angle on the valve it took 2-3 hours. It makes it a little difficult to access. But the hoses lay perfectly, the can is up and out of the way. I empty about 1 tsp out every 1k-2k miles. It does an awesome job!

Product is very well constructed and installation was (mostly) a breeze. Since the bracket is adjustable it really opens up some good possibilities for placement. I had trouble opening it. Eventually resorted to using the rubber handle on my magnetic pick-up tool to get enough leverage to pry it open. The gasket really keeps it sealed tight, which is a wonderful thing to not have to worry about it unraveling itself while driving.

Catch Can

The catch can came in a nicely packed in a box with every piece separated by plastic bags. The installation was seemless and did not take longer than 25 min. The extra time was due to applying blue lock-tight to some of the screws. The hoses that came in the box are thick and strong. The clamps are easy to install and clamp down. The only tools needed was a socket and allen wrench. Very easy to install and reasonably price equipment that will help to protect my vehicle.

Protect the life of your jeep

Watch some reviews on Youtube and your'll see why you need a catch can. This one is amazing with the included bracket, keeping it secure while still looking great. Fitment is perfect. It looks like it was always made to be there. If your looking for a catch can, IMOP this is the best bang for your buck.

Expensive so wait for sale

Works well, I’d recommend getting better hoses. The ones that come with it are pretty flimsy and under vacuum will collapse.

Disappointing.

I installed this on my 2008 JKU. Installation is super easy, just copy and paste the name of this oil catch to YouTube and they guide you step by step. I’m extremely disappointed with the hoses that they supply with the oil catch can. Since the system is vacuum, these hoses can’t handle the pressure and they kink causing air flow restriction. I’ll be replacing the hoses with either pvc ones or fuel line hoses.

Installed it the other day. Was impressed by the solid construction. I am curious to see how much oil it catches.
