Patagonia M/T. Get the superior traction you need to drive on any soft, loose terrain with the Milestar Patagonia M/T Mud-Terrain Tire. Designed to be at home rock crawling, exploring the desert, mud bogging or driving on mountain trails, the Patagonia M/T's tread pattern provides maxium traction allowing you to conquer any and all terrains.
Proprietary Compound. One of the factors that give this tire its advantages is the newly developed tire compound that features a silica-infused rubber polymer. This formula is designed to ensure maximum grip and longer tread life while being chip and cut resistant. As such, you can use this tire in any season or terrain without worrying about performance and traction.
Optimized Tread Design. Aside from the tire compound, the tread design is another reason why this Patagonia M/T Tire should be on your all-terrain vehicle. The high-void tread design is engineered to provide aggressive biting edges, while promoting self cleaning. Staggered, off-center tread blocks provide increased traction while enhancing on-the-road performance. The Patagonia M/T’s 3-ply sidewall provides additional protection against impact damage, while stone ejectors combat stone drilling, especially useful for rock crawling and all-terrain exploration.
Application. The Milestar Patagonia M/T Mud-Terrain Tire is designed for all Jeep Wrangler models. Please choose your size from the ordering options available. Sold individually.
What is the best gear ratio to run for larger tires? When you increase the diameter of your tires, your vehicle's engine has to work harder to turn them. Naturally, this will lead to increased fuel consumption and reduced performance. So, when upgrading to a set of larger tires you should re-gear your rig to regain this lost acceleration, performance and fuel economy.
Find your original tire size and gear ratio using the chart listed below, the intersection should be your approximate RPMs at 65 MPH. Then find your new tire size and follow it across to the closest RPM to your original tires, this will be your gear ratio choice.
This chart is based on driving at 65 MPH with a 1:1 gear ratio and a manual transmission in 4th gear. Please note if your vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission your RPMs will be higher due to normal transmission and the torque converter slippage. In overdrive your RPMs will be approximately 15% to 30% less than indicated.
