Note: This compressor is not fitted with a pressure relief valve. Do not over inflate tires as serious injury could occur.

This compressor operates from a 12 volt battery via the battery alligator clips. It is recommended that the vehicle be running during use so that the battery is not run down.

Installation Instructions:

What’s in the box:

  • Compressor with attached power cable battery alligator clips
  • 5 meter air hose with quick connect coupler
  • 0.5 meter adapter hose with gauge, quick connect coupler, and threaded/clip-on air chuck
  • Accessory kit with inflation adapters for sporting/camping equipment
  • Replacement foam air cleaner
  • Storage bag

1. Find a dry, level surface to place the air compressor near the battery of the vehicle. (The battery clip leads are long enough to allow the compressor to sit on the ground while connected to the battery.) Connect the red clip to the positive ( ) terminal of the battery and the black clip to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.

2. Connect the 5 meter air hose to the compressor using the quick connect couplers. To use the quick connect coupler, slide the collar back, insert the hose onto the male connector on the compressor and push until the collar slides forward and locks the hose in place. Connect the 0.5 meter adapter hose (with gauge) to the 5 meter air hose.

Note: If the tire is located near the batter, you can omit the 5 meter hose and connect the 0.5 meter adapter hose (with gauge) directly to the compressor.

3. Connect the air chuck to the tire. You can choose to use the clip-on connector or the screw-on connector depending on your preference.

4. Turn the compressor on using the rocker switch and inflate the tire to the desired pressure. You will need to briefly turn the compressor off to get a true pressure reading of the tire pressure on the gauge.

If the tire is over-inflated beyond the desired pressure, the button on the back of the gauge can be pressed to reduce the tire air pressure.

5. Disconnect the battery clips and air hose. Allow the compressor to cool before putting into the storage bag.
