Description
Quiet Tone. Improve the sound and exhaust flow of your truck with a MBRP XP Series Quiet Tone Muffler Resonator. This MBRP Quiet Tone Muffler features dual core technology which provides optimal exhaust flow in conjunction with superior sound suppression, making it perfect for on-road towing applications as interior cabin noise is greatly reduced.
T-409 Stainless Steel Construction. MBRP proudly manufactures their XP Series Mufflers from fully welded, heavy duty, T-409 stainless steel for superior strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The Muffler features the MBRP logo embossed in the casing for a custom appearance.
Application. This MBRP XP Series Quiet Tone Muffler; 5-Inch Inlet/Outlet features a universal design allowing it to be installed on vehicles equipped with a 5-inch exhaust system. Sold individually.

The exhaust tip is nice, and the price was reasonable. Did not fit my 2024 2.7 Badland Sasquatch. Although I have a 3" exhaust, it would have to be cut in order for the tip to fit.

Quality exhaust tip
Took me a bit to find the right position to install. Wouldn't stay on place. But figured it out and it's solid. Gives a nice finishing touch to the blackout.

This exhaust!
Ease of installation. The tone is listed as aggressive and you do hear it but at cruising speed listening to music is not an issue. My biggest Love about this is I'm getting 4-5 MPG more after installation. I average 25 - 28 MPG on my 2.7 Outer Banks and am very satisfied. Only other mod is a Roush cold air intake.

Sounds good but...
So the extre clearance, sound, and the larger pipe are all pros. However the one I got was packaged very bad. Was packaged with packaging paper and not enough at that. The exhaust rattled inside the box very bad causing tons of scuffs as well as all my connections were bent so I had to run bend them for the exhaust to actually connect together. Also the exhaust I got looked used or something. Looked like black oil was on the inside of every pipe upon opening. Extreme terrain was fast to reply to my issues. But ensured me that the kit I got was not used even tho I'd almost bet it was based on the oil and packaging. All the other kits look to be boxed in foam not paper like mine. Either way I installed it and overall happy. But idk if I will buy another MBRP exhaust in the future personally.

Cat back exhaust
This is the perfect exhaust for someone wanting a aftermarket exhaust but not paying the price of aftermarket exhaust, the noise output is not overwhelming and sounds pure and throaty, it’s a great choice for the 4.0 4Runners. It took a little time due to having to cut stuff out that was rusted, if you have a newer car it will take less than 2 hours

MBRP Armor lite cat back exhaust 2023 TRD off road 4Runner
The exhaust sounds really good however it is a little bit louder in your vehicle than what the video portrays but when you get to about 45 to 50 miles an hour anything above that you don’t really hear it so on long drives, it’ll be fine.
