How to Install Mammoth Exhaust Spacer Kit for 2.5 in.+ Lift - Stainless Steel on your Wrangler

(2) M8 x 80mm Bolts (Short)

(2) M8 x 90mm Bolts (Long)

1. On a level surface, with the engine cold, raise and support the vehicle on jack stands.

2. Loosen the Y-pipe to mid-pipe exhaust clamp.

3. Grind the locating tab off the y-pipe to allow the y-pipe to slide further onto the mid-pipe.

4. Remove the factory bolts holding the y-pipe to the headers.

5. Remove the rubber exhaust hangers from the y-pipe and mid-pipe if necessary.

6. Install the short exhaust spacer on the driver's side and the long spacer on the passenger side between the y-pipe and header.

7. Reconnect the y-pipe to the headers using the short bolts on the driver side and the long bolts on the passenger side.

8. Ensure adequate exhaust clearance before tightening to the y-pipe to mid-pipe exhaust clamp. Loosen bolts and exhaust clamp to adjust as needed.
