Description
Smoother Opening and Closing.When your Jeep's doors start creaking, you can use a messy lubricant, which will just delay the inevitable, or use these Kentrol Door Hinge Liners. Replace your factory door bushing with these liners, which are designed for OE door hinges only.
Construction and Look. These door hinge liners are made from extremely durable, low-friction Delrin plastic. It's strong and resilient, then finished in a black powder coat that should match the look of your Wrangler JK, no matter the color.
Installation. Putting these Kentrol Door Hinge Liners is relatively simple. You'll have to remove your doors and do some minor wiring work, but otherwise, pop your OE door bushings out, then install your new ones. Re-hang the doors and away you go.
Warranty. Kentrol offers a limited lifetime warranty on these door hinge liners.

Highly recommended
This helps with issues I had getting the passenger door to align, forcing me to slam it shut. Smooth swinging motion without need for lubricants. Easy door removal and reinsertion without banging the alignment pins against metal. Highly recommended improvement!

Door hinge liners
These are great! So easy to take the doors on and off now. I was struggling so much (I’m only 5’1”, 140lbs) before putting these in. Now I can actually do it myself, but will accept help if my boys are around?? However, I will say getting the factory door liners out was a bear! It wasn’t something I could do on my own. My son (the mechanic) had to literally tap and chisel them out. I didn’t realize they were metal. But once he got them out, he did a little sanding to get all the burrs out and the new hinge liners popped right in!

These replacements are a teflon type material and very easy to install once you remove the originals, which is not always easy.

Should have installed these years ago!
I recommend these for any JK over a year or two old- I should have put them on as soon as I got the Jeep. The OEM hinge liners are total crap compared to these. Now I don't fight with the doors to get them into the hinges!

We had to gently use a floor jack to get the doors off before. Now we just lift them off after installing the hinge liners.
