Description
All-Weather All-Terrain Performance. Get superior traction through any terrain, in all weather conditions with the Kanati KU-254 Trail Hog A/T-4 Tire. This all-terrain tire utilizes an asymmetrical tread design that combines wide and narrow tread blocks engineered to provide superior traction through any terrain. Moreover, this tire comes with a mountain snowflake rating, making it more than capable in winter.
Versatile Design for Well-Rounded Performance. This all-terrain tire is equipped with a specialized tread design featuring a tight asymmetric center patch with narrow channels and wider high void outer tread blocks. This “composite” tread design works to provide exceptional traction on solid ground maximum grip through loose soil and mud. Additionally, the high void outer channels prevent mud and slush buildup, ensuring an optimal contact patch. Similarly, well-designed sipings on the tread blocks deliver excellent wet weather traction, while accommodations for #16 winter studs provide use in severe winter weather. Lastly, alternating wide and narrow side lugs help dig you out of the mud.
Tough Build Quality. This Trail Hog series all-terrain tire is manufactured from a unique natural rubber formulation reinforced with silica and carbon black for excellent tread life. Also, its sidewalls feature a 3-ply construction, offering ideal structural integrity. The sidewalls are then further protected by the side lugs against cuts and abrasion.
Excellent On-Road Noise Levels. As capable as this all-terrain tire is on the trails, it also offers excellent highway driving manners. This is accomplished by its asymmetric center tread patch that also includes a specialized variable pitch design to provide a quieter highway ride quality. Additionally, this design helps maintain ideal handling characteristics keeping the drive up to your trail destination safely uneventful.

Great Bang for Your Buck !
I've driven my 2017 4Runner and 2018 JL wrangler through several PA snow storms without having need to engage the 4X4. Other vehicles (ill equipped, in all transparency) were spinning 180 degrees while I passed cruising without any worry. Traction during heavy rain is also outstanding, Philly gets flooded quite often so plenty of opportunities to assess their grip on wet pavement. The tires are noisy, it can't all be perfect. It does not bother me on the JL because it carries a soft top, as expected, the roof against the wind is significantly louder that one can barely notice the tire noise. On the other hand, I do notice it while driving the 4Runner and its terribly annoying.

Grabbed a set of these because of the cost. I didn't have much expectation of this tire. But the quality and ride blew me away! Smooth Ride great traction and the look is GREAT! So far I have 15,000 Miles and looks like I have more than have the tread left. 10/10 purchase.
