Description
Crystal Clear Sound. Are you looking for a speaker that has crystal clear sound at high volumes without distortion? The JL Audio 6.5" 2-Way Component Speaker System offers proper power and smooth mid-range bass. The system speakers' .75" silk dome diaphragms deliver smooth and extended response for excellent sound that is great for the Wrangler.
Well-Made Construction. This system is well-built. It features component woofers with mineral-filled polypropylene cones, long excursion capabilities, and stamped steel frames. The system also includes a C2 crossover network that's compact and includes Mylar capacitors.
Easy Installation. If there's a speaker system that's easy to install, the JL Audio 2-way speaker system would be it. They include flush-mounting and surface-mounting fixtures to fit your installation needs. The multiple mounting patterns are provided on the woofer frame making it easy to install on your Wrangler.

JL Sound System
I bought the stealth subwoofer box for my 2016 JK a few years ago. I finally got around to upgrading the factory speaks. The tweeters make a great addition. With the subwoofer and new speakers, my music sounds great! I’m happy with the product! I took it to an audio deal for both installs.

I absolutely know my way around wires, however, i purchased these based on the description provided by ET which claims the simplicity of the install. These ARE NOT PLUG & PLAY. THEY DO NOT PERFECTLY FIT INTO THE PLACE OF a 2014 JEEP WRANGLER JK STOCK SPEAKERS.

High quality Speaker System for a good price!
I most recently purchased these and had them installed into my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. They fit perfectly and they sound amazing! Definitely sound better than the stock Speakers... These were installed into the front dashboard Speaker sections and they are absolutely perfect! Definitely will be purchasing again soon for the back Speakers and would highly recommend!

Don't be fooled by the one star review
No, these are not direct plug and play. However, these absolutely will fit with the proper prep/install. I cut the stock speaker from their bracket and reused them along with some home made foam gaskets for the woofers to keep everything air tight. The tweeters with the provided brackets will sit in the factory pods just fine, just use some adhesive to hold them in place and you are good to go. I replaced all my speaker with JL (2-ways in sound bar) and are only powering them with a Sony XAV-AX100 head unit (17w RMS/55w max) and they sound great. Perfect mids/highs to compliment my 12W3v3!

DID NOT FIT 2017 SAHARA
These were supposed to fit a 2017 wrangler, and they didnt, thank god for my boyfriend who was able to custom fit them into my speakers, the tweeters are so small and still are not in my jeep due to not fitting. He was able to cut the larger speakers to fit, super dissapointed.

JL Stealth Sub
I have a 2023 Rubicon 392 Recon. The Jeep is amazing but needed a little sound system upgrade. The 2 ohm sub didn’t disappoint. I only have the passenger side and it hammers paired with a Kicker amp. You won’t be disappointed, it’s worth the investment.

Easy Install
Very easy install. I'm using JL VXi amps so they're predrilled (and tapped) for these amps. The only minor complaint is the underseat duct sits up real close to the amp. I've loosened the hold down and moved the duct back as far as I could so now it's acceptable. If you're looking to mount JL amps under the seat in your JL, this is the easiest and most secure way that I found.

I have to say I got an open box item, and the bottom bar does not fit into the back seat as shown in the instructions. I was able to just fill the hole with a bolt cause the top two brackets fit well.

Fits perfect!
Instillation is quick and easy. Fits perfect and looks stock. Things to watch out for; if your Jeep is new to you, and the seat won’t latch after install, the previous owner put seat lift blocks. Remove them. Also, the hardware included will make it more difficult to remove the hard top. Sound is amazing. Beats any high end, stock system.

Really happy with this. Easy to install and sounds great! I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend the money, but I didn’t want to lose space in back to a big speaker box, so I bought it. So happy I did. This tucks up out of the way perfectly and looks good. Highly recommend.

Worth it!
This 600W Sub works beautifully! I had to install some custom brackets to keep it from bouncing when I go over bumps as I like to offroad. Clean sound, no rattle! I have a soft top, to being covert in the trunk looking like the floorboard is my favorate part. I paired it with an in-dash Alpine system and a remote base controller. Super happy with this stereo upgrade. Now I can hear and feel my music over my loud tires. lol

Great sub
The sound quality of the sub is pretty amazing for its size. The one complaint I would have is it does cause the vibration on the side of the jeep which is expected when you have a sub. Will probably need some noise dampening products to stop it. Overall great sub.

The JL passenger side speaker is worth every penny. I love the way it sounds. It is tucked away perfectly so that all my over landing gear still fits. Can’t wait until I get the drivers side speaker put in. It only took me one and a half hour to install very easy.

A: The OEM headunit will have no issues providing power for the JL Audio 6.5 in. 2-Way Component Speaker System, although you will get superior sound quality with an aftermarket unit. Adding the crossovers will be fairly straightforward and will not require any special tools or knowledge over the rest of the install.
Q: Are they plug play?
A: Hello! These speakers are direct replacements for what are already in your vehicle. They are as simple as installing speakers can be! No modification required.
Q: are they louder than the jk stock speakers?
A: Yes, these would be an upgrade for the factory speakers.
Q: Are these plug and play speakers ? and does it come with installation instructions?
