Great value

I replace the original tailgate with this one after is was smashed up. Pretty easy to switch the existing hardware over. A couple hundred dollars cheaper than the Jeep dealer. Definitely worth it

Zone shocks

Zone 3-4 inch shocks installed on a 2006 TJ 3” lift. They’ve made a huge difference in he ride quality. No longer do I feel like a bobble head getting thrown around due to poor road conditions.

Works for now

It’s a lot lighter than the factory tailgate but it also doesn’t have any rust holes. Fit was good. Quality for price was what I expected. Looking forward to seeing if I can stiffen and insulate this summer.

Remodel

This was exactly what I needed! Had to rebuild a tailgate and bumper after some issues. Came primed and ready to go for paint, no damage! Perfect option! Make sure you have the tailgate vents and vent covers or you will have some exposed openings.

Replacement Tailgate

This did fit my 07 JKU, however exhauster (outside opening) is different for 07 vs .. later years, so I'm left to deal with it on my own. I would highly recommend to research this mis-advertisement before buying. I did purchase 'open-box', which had a little damage on corners, which were fixable and unit fully repainted. Open-box unit was NOT very well packaged for shipment, probably got a bit more damaged along the way, so be mindful of that. Once fixed/painted/installed, the fit was good.

Tailgate

Although i ordered the wrong color the tailgate showed up in amazing shape. all i read is that normally the corners might be bent with other companies.. Extreme Terrain has handled everything from sending this out to the return to sending out the right one. Thanks !

good fitment some extra holes

This was purchased to replace a fully rusted out rear door of a 2006 Wrangler unlimited (last of the two door versions). I hired a local mechanic to install. pro: -fit was excellent. no issues getting it in -price was excellent $800 from Chrysler: $135 from Extreme Terrain. -all the pieces and parts which were either old or new fit - i replaced all seals and the hinges which were from Chrysler and pretty expensive but fit well -door arrived earlier than promised and was well packaged. con: -Not a simple task. Took quite a bit of work to get this in. -there are extra holes for who knows what. I will try to post a photo -the original center grill does not fit and was eliminated. -weight and quality were much reduced; beware if you buy this it is not the same quality as a door from Chrysler. ymmv. But look at the price and you can understand.

Rugged ridge-Omni-ada tailgate 96-06 TJ wranglers

The quality kinda sucks because it was made in China or something! This is why it should have been made in the USA! Or even somewhere like Canada or Turkey or something! Factory latch holes the 3 of them from Chrysler are small and correct the China rugged ridge holes are oblonged and now I have to use washers for the bolts to hold so they don’t pull through the tailgate! I have not installed the latch yet hopefully the holes line up unlike the other persons review stated they didn’t! He said he only had two latch holes and mine has the 3 of them just enlongated unlike factory ones are. Also had to open up cylinder lock hole with a file so the stock cylinder key lock would fit into the tailgate! Hole was to small! That’s fixed now. Have not installed tailgate just yet wonder what else I’m gonna run into that’s not correct like Chrysler’s tailgate is! That’s the problem we let these other countries make our stuff that we could be making better than theirs are made!

Great purchase

Service and delivery was great, the tailgate needed a little tweaking for latches and locks but all around a good purchase
