Review shared from 3-Inch Round Side Step Bars; Black (87-06 Jeep Wrangler YJ & TJ, Excluding Unlimited)
A Step Up
These Side Step Bars fit perfect on my 97 TJ. Installation took about 45 mins. Directions could have been a little better, probably would have made it even easier. Overall, I am really pleased with the fit, function, and appearance.

GS Handmedown
Installation went fine untill we reached the rear bolts. Hole alignment was off on both sides. A little altering and swaping bolts, it's done.

You get what you pay for
They look pretty good. The wiring harness in the front for the flares seems pretty good. I still have not figured out how to wire the rear ones. One of the lights has already gone out.

Wide Fenders
The fenders are good quality and durable. I needed them to be wider but I was able to make them work.

Appears to have been some hardware improvements
So, after reading the very informative and honest reviews I decided to give these a go anyways. ?? The one complaint I kept seeing was about poor quality hardware such as plastic screws and non-stainless hardware. A good many folks recommended flat out replacing the hardware upon receipt to SS screws, which I would’ve 100% agreed with. Nobody wants rust stains running down from subpar mounting hardware! However, upon receiving my kit, January ‘25, it appears the hardware has been significantly improved. All screws appear to be full SS. There are some of the smaller inner screws that are black painted and who knows on those, but they don’t appear to be located in places there’d be an issue. There were NO plastic screws, but there are some square plastic nuts that are pretty much necessary. They snap into the holes where the old rear fender’s mounting tabs locked in to the body. I can’t see a way around this mounting method as you’d have to do some serious drilling mods if you wanted to run longer bolts/washers/nuts straight through. Now people, remember you paid a buck and a half - delivered - for these, so set your expectations accordingly. I’m NOT saying they’re cheap, but they’re not going to be 1/2” thick, solid titanium reinforced hardcore abs plastic. They’re exactly the thickness you know darn well you’re gonna get when comparing prices to the alternatives. They are to me, exactly what I expected for the money. One positive is easy removal if you wanna move up into something fancier or more expensive as the years go on. We do own Jeeps after all, and isn’t that what we do? Is anything “forever” on a Wrangler? All in all I feel these are significantly more eye appealing than those nasty faded gray ones you have and hate now. I would expect a 2-3 year shelf life before upgrading again to something beefier. I also recommend pulling your inners too and avoiding all the extra work of keeping them. I promise your Jeep will look so much better without them. Especially after throwing on a 33” wheel and tire kit from ExtremeTerrain.com. You can mount 33’s without needing any lift kit or suspension mods. You’ll thank me for making that upgrade with these fenders. The new shoes will fill out your wheel wells nicely! Quack, quack - Jeep on!

Modifications Needed for Installation
These fenders are nice once I got them installed. For the price can't go wrong but expect doing some modifications. When installing the rivets you cannot get a screwdriver behind it. Do yourself a favor and go get some 10 mm hex screws to use. When installing defenders they do not match up to the holes, not even close. I used the heat gun underneath and molded defenders to fit the holes on my Jeep. Also I didn't hook up the lights the wiring looked pretty cheap. I put the lights in and just use them as reflectors.

AMAZING!!!!!!
Looks amazing. Love the style. Pretty easy to install. The only difficult item was putting the little bolt looking parts on the fenders. I recommend drilling a small hole for the ones that don’t have room for tools. Sorry no photos for that part.

4.5 needs some tweaks
So this review is like a head up so the tweaks you have to to do is the lighting, replacing the screws to stainless steel because they will rust cutting the imperfections of the flares to be able to fit the lights into it and buy additional splice wire connections they only came with 2 and the lights for back had this weird connection that had to cut off and just splice it to the main wire but Installation of the flares is a breeze drill addition holes to your jeep to match your flares then drill it in definitely weekend project but if you do all small tweaks it worth the time and price

Review shared from Tubular Safari Doors; Textured Black (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK 4-Door)
Very bad instructions/Look Great
The instructions are incoherent and incomplete with only 2 badly photo copied 1 sided pages. However with moderate mechanical knowledge you'll assemble the doors. Just remember 3 things, 1. chase the the threads on the door hinges to remove the powder coating or you will never get the factory bolts to thread all the way to secure the door to the body correctly. 2. the directions do not tell you that the two top hinges on the back door are the ones that the pin is oriented differently than the bottom and the 4 for the front door which all look the same! 3. Once you have the doors on and closed reach over to the inside and loosen the hinge bolts enough to adjust the door get the latch to connect with the door frame properly and you will not struggle with a latch that is hard to operate it will glide onto the catch if you take your time.
