No Loose Threads. If you're fixing up an old Jeep, you're going to want to rebuild the steering coupler. They're very simple units, but the internals wear down over the years, and you need to freshen things up to take the play out of the system. The thing is that the internals is metal, as is the coupler. So if they wear down, the coupler will too. Throwing this on means you're not taking chances by throwing fresh, new parts in a tired, old housing.
Mopar Quality. No, this isn't some low-grade replacement part that you'll be lucky to get five years out of. It's the same kind of quality that Jeep rolled out many years ago, if not better. Think about it, not only is this a Mopar part, it's been made in recent years. The technology used to send this out today is better than what Jeep had to work with 30 or even 40 years ago.
5-Year Warranty. Still not sure if it'll last more than five years? Well, there's a warranty to guarantee it. The warranty backing this is exactly five years. If you notice anything wrong and it's due to poor manufacturing, you can call Mopar up and have it replaced right away.
