Application. This replacement Jeep Wrangler Spider Gear Kit is engineered to fit the following models: 1976-1983 CJ5, 1976-1986 CJ7, and 1981-1986 CJ8. In addition, it also fits Scrambler models equipped with AMC 20 rear differentials with Trac-Loc.
Installation Difficulty. Installation involves mainly uninstalling and reinstalling the Wrangler’s undercarriage. It is labor-intensive and could take approximately 5 or more hours to complete. Moderate-to-intermediate mechanical skills are required, and professional installation is recommended.
