Review shared from Stealth Hood; Fiberglass (18-25 Jeep Wrangler JL)
Disappointed
I bought this because I love the look and DV 8 usually has good products. But, I had to return it because of damage and very poor welds and quality. In order to fix it would have cost just shy of double the paid price of the hood. Very Disappointing! I didn’t want a replacement because of the poor stamping and damage. If someone purchased a steel hood that looks close to this one and is very happy with it please let me know?

6 inch fenders
Looks great. Fit pretty well took some trimming and minor fab work to get it looking great but happy with the way it turned out.

Bulge fenders and bedsides
I would recommend having a shop install these if you don't have any bodywork experience. They make the truck look great and give it a rugged aggressive wide stance look. I get compliments everywhere I go on how well the truck looks. There are a few downsides to the bulge fenders and bedsides though that I haven't been able to fix yet due to time available to focus on them, but they are as follows: 1. The gas tank filler neck. Because the bedsides stick out the filler neck does not align with its intended placement. Still able to fill the tank like normal, just a little extra work to get the cap off and on. 2. Can't reuse the fender liners, and there are no companies that make fender liners for the bulge fenders. So you would have to make your own custom liners. Which I plan on using some 1/16" or so ABS plastic sheeting and a heat gun to make my own. 3. Front fenders with no liner leaves your airbox air intake opening exposed to dirt and water. Right now I have an air filter waterproof sock over my intake to keep it dry and dust-free. Other than those 3 issues the bulge fenders and bedsides are a great option to give your truck an aggressive look that would set it apart from every other truck like yours on the road. I am very happy with the way my truck turned out after having them installed. And one last thing when finding a body shop. Make sure to find a place that can paint them to match the rest of the truck. Due to the panels being fiberglass and not metal like the rest of the body, paint tends the lay and give off a different look than the rest of the truck. Luckily I did not have this issue. But when researching before purchasing the panels I always noticed that you could tell the difference in the paint between the cab, the doghouse, and the bedsides. I will try and post some photos when I get some photos uploaded. As for the install price of $4,000, I know the shop owner personally who did my install and I'm sure I got a discounted rate. But that should give a basic ballpark figure on how much it would cost to have them installed by a shop.

Q: are thes high clearance? They look like they are. Could i install 35" tires without a lift?
A: Yes they are a highline design you will still want to do your measuring for the fitment on the 35's without a lift to be sure not to hit them.
