      Description

      Keep the Latch On. The rugged simplicity of your TJ means that Jeep kept the traditional hood latches for both form and function. Unfortunately, over time these can break, or the rubber can lose flexibility. When this happens, the hood latches are hard to open or close, and driving if the hood is not securely closed is a concern for you and other motorists. This pair of Hook and Catch Hood Latches from ExtremeTerrain are direct replacements, ready to make latching your hood a far easier experience.

      Quality Materials. This pair of Hood Latches also come with Hood Catch Brackets so that you can replace all parts of the latch assemblies. The handles and catches are durable ABS plastic, connected by an integrated molded rubber tension strap. The plastic and rubber are both molded in a matte black finish to match the originals. 

      Simple Repair. Replacing the latches on your TJ is a pleasant task. There are only three nuts on each side to remove the old latches and install the replacements. Tighten the nuts by hand, check the hood fit and latch tightness, and then finish tightening the nuts on the new latches. 

      Application.  This Pair of Hood Latch and Catch assemblies are designed to be direct replacement parts for all 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models.
