Looks better than factory
Product arrived in a timely manner and appears as advertised. Installation was simple, with normal hand tools. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Looks much nicer than the faded factory piece. I would recommend this product.

JL Cowl cover good, needs improvement
The cowl comes powder coated, and is straight forward for install. Be aware that if/ when you install it that you think about future issues with wiper arms. If you put the rivets in and you need access, you will to drill them out. Instead I used screws in case I need access for later. Also I had a local shop paint it the same color as my OEM paint. With the original faded plastic gone it cleans up the look nicely.

As far as the product it seem well made. I only rated it 3 stars because of the rivet's color coming off. Its a shame that $2 worth of fasteners (rivet's) bring down the product

So frustrating
I love the aesthetic of this piece. It certainly offers a considerable upgrade compared to the plastic OEM cover. The rivets they supply are abysmal. They are the cheapest of quality and the three I used snapped midway up and had to be drilled. Besides being low quality, riveting would be a terrible idea for inviting rust. I ended up drilling, anchoring with rivnuts, and purchasing higher quality fasteners. About a week later, the cover started to rust. It’s a great piece that the manufacturer has decided to burden with unnecessary quality flaws.

Diamond Cowl Cover
Overall I like the product. The material seems well made and not flimsy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the rivet gun and when it cuts the pin it scratches some of the black on the pin itself. Not a huge deal and can touch up. I'm not handy and it was a fairly easy install. I did need to buy a rivet gun (Amazon for $15) and auto trim removal kit (Amazon for $7.50). It does not fit perfectly into the cowl but that is by design I believe. Just an FYI.

Big Improvement!
Such a big improvement over the factory faded black plastic cowl that I replaced. Wasn't sure about aluminum vs black finish but glad I went with polished aluminum. I'm an accountant and I was able to install it! Hardest part was removing my wiper arms. Need a drill and rivot gun that will take 3/16 rivots. Very pleased!

cowl cover
The pop rivet's used to install the cowl were balck and in a couple days' time the heads turned to a copper color. Now I have to touch up with balck paint.

Review shared from Rear Door Limiting Strap Kit; Black (07-25 Jeep Wrangler JK & JL)
Good Insurance
Bought older Jeep & tailgate hinges were bad. Replaced with used ones but realized the stops are a weak link & didn't wanna risk breaking the tail light again so installed this strap as a safety measure to assure I wouldn't swing the gate too far. Works perfect & an easy install with just your average drill kit. Money well spent & easily adjustable to stop gate where ever you want it to.

Alignment Issues
Bolt holes for the taillights and license plate holder were off so bad I had to re-drill them enable to install them and drilling holes in holes is never a simple undertaking without a drill press. This is the third set of these I’ve installed over the years, the first to went without problems
