      Description

Strengthen Your Vehicle’s Axle. If your vehicle’s rear axle is making noise, it may be a sign that the axle’s bearings are chipped or damaged. Similarly, curb impacts and insufficient lubrication can lead to loosened pinion bearings and leaky seals. That’s why you should upgrade your axle with the Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft Bearing Kit. This kit consists of a bearing, an outer seal, an inner seal, a spacer, a bearing retainer, 5 wheel studs, and an RTV sealant.

Reliable Construction. Made from top-quality materials, the Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft Bearing Kit is designed to provide strength and reliability to your axle. The kit meets OEM quality standards and offers perfect fit and function. It’s meant to be installed on the rear end of your vehicle, and it’s compatible with both the driver and passenger sides.

Direct-Fit Replacement. The Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft Bearing Kit is designed as a direct-fit replacement. To install this bearing kit, you first need to remove the axle, the aftermarket seal, and the old bearing. When removing the bearing from the shaft, be careful not to damage the axle. The kit comes with an RTV sealant, which you’re supposed to use to glue the seal to the bearing.

5-Year Limited Warranty. Omix-ADA gives you a 5-year limited warranty for the Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft Bearing Kit. This means that you’ll be able to return this product if there are any manufacturer defects.

Application. The Jeep Wrangler Drive Axle Shaft Bearing Kit is designed to fit 1976-1986 Jeep Wrangler CJ5 & CJ7 vehicles, equipped with AMC 20 rear differentials and 1-piece conversion axles.

Installation Difficulty. Installing this drive axle shaft bearing kit takes approximately 2 hours. Basic tools and advanced mechanical skills are necessary.

Review shared from Drive Axle Shaft Assembly (77-82 Jeep CJ5 & CJ7)

      1979 Wrangler - BigJacks

      does not come assembled

shaft seems to be good quality, however unlike the picture leads you to believe, the axle shaft does not come assembled and you must assemble it yourself. also the cardboard used for shipping was very flimsy and so it had more than a few holes where the axle shaft broke through the box during shipping.

      Dana 44 Diff carrier bearing

This was a perfect fit, the box it was shipped in needed to be stronger. I thought the carrier or bearings were damaged if you would have seen the box, but luckily there was no damage. Hopefully this will help them with stronger packaging.

      Clutch master/slave cylinder

It’s as simple as removing the cotter pin on the clutch and removing the slave from the bell housing and then remove the master cylinder from the fire wall (passenger side) Before full installation you will need to bench bleed the system , put the master above the slave and then slowly pump the air out of the line
