Description
Replacement Fuel Sending Unit. Accurately track the amount of fuel in the tank of your Wrangler YJ using this 15-gallon fuel tank sending unit. This in-tank sending unit watches how much fuel is in the tank and sends a signal to the fuel gauge to keep you updated about how much fuel is available. This part is meant for the Wrangler YJ and it is made to the same size as the OEM part.
Fifteen-Gallon in-Tank Unit. This product is designed to work with a 15-gallon fuel tank like the ones on Wrangler YJ vehicles. This model installs inside the fuel tank and uses a float system to determine how much fuel is in the tank. It’s equipped with multiple gaskets and seals to protect its electronics during operation.
Zinc and Aluminum Construction. This Jeep Wrangler 15-gallon fuel sending unit is made from a blend of zinc and aluminum and constructed to avoid corrosion over time.
Mid-Level Installation. This sending unit is moderately difficult to install because it’s mounted in the fuel tank itself. To install this product professionals must remove the fuel tank and insert this into position. Once inserted the fuel gauge will get accurate readings once again.
12-Month Warranty Coverage. This fuel sending unit has a 12-month factory warranty attached to it. The warranty protects against material defects and workmanship issues as well.
Application. This part is made to fit 1987-1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ vehicles. It works with the models equipped with a 2.5L engine only.
