Reliable Ball Joint Upgrade. The Heavy Duty Ball Joint Set is a solid replacement part for your Jeep that also serves as a high-strength upgrade for offroad driving. The joints serve as the pivot point for your steering knuckle and can absorb a lot of force, especially when the wheels are turning or impacted from the side. These joints provide zero lash for a tight fit to give you smooth and responsive steering.
Heavy-Duty Construction. The Heavy Duty Ball Joint Set is manufactured using toughened steel and a durable, corrosion-resistant lubricant sleeve. The joints have been designed to last, delivering reliable performance in a range of driving scenarios. Poor Quality..Junk
Purchased these for my '99 Wrangler. Installation was easy with no problems. Problem is that the joints are loose and wil not tighten up. More loose than the old ones I replaced. Found out yesterday, 03-31-19, that they have been discontinued at Extreme. Wish they would have told me this before purchase or at least steer me to a more reliable set of joints. Wold not recommend these to anyone. Hopfully the manufacturer or Extreme can make this right.

2 inch spacers
I ordered this spacers and it came to my doorstep in a week and being I live in Hawaii that's pretty dang fast. Perfect fitment and super easy to install. Extreme terrain is definitely my number one off-road site for all my wrangler jl needs.

Perfect lift for my Jeep
The lift kit is perfect height for 33 in tires. You could definitely get by with 35 as well. Insulation isn't too hard.

Best 200$ you'll spend
I bought this steering kit for my XJ and can attest that its easily one of the best 200$ you will spend on your Jeep. Replace your steering linkage and beef it up at the same time. Just remember to get an alignment by a tech who knows what they are doing. Took me about an hour to install. Make sure you have an impact and a rubber sluggo on hand.

Definitely an upgrade, not amazing quality
Good budget friendly upgrade to the stock steering without any modifications like other steering kits. I only wish the boots were better quality on the joints. Also, none of the cotter pin holes were drilled straight had a tough time with them and had to use my own undersized cotter pin on one of them.

Great kit!
The heavy duty steering kit was just what my TJ needed. Fit was great and quality of materials was notably fine. The four stars was because I felt with this kit the quality of the grease boots on the tie rod ends was lacking. Otherwise, the kit was well worth the price.

Looks good and works great
I didn't like the stock one and i couldn't see spending 500.00 for the aftermarket ones. This fit the bill, heavy duty and a price in between.
