This hood is designed to conform to the shape of your hood area for a nice, clean look when installed. More significantly, this hood features driver and passenger side heat vents, giving it a racing-inspired look that’s sure to turn heads both on and off-road.
Extra Function. This MPR style hood’s heat vents are not just for looks as these will give your ride extra function by boosting heat exchange. This is accomplished by high-grade aluminum mesh grilles, allowing the vents to remain open. This, in turn, allows heat to dissipate more efficiently, lowering engine bay temperatures and providing more cool air to your engine. Please note that the vent louvers are sold separately.
Brawny Build Quality. This MPR hood is made from an exclusive blend of premium fiberglass and a novel polymer plastic, making it strong, lightweight, and flexible. These factors help reduce impact damage compared to stiffer traditional fiberglass. Likewise, the hood’s fiberglass piece is hand-laid by artisans, following exact parameters and providing a clean look and tight finish. Moreover, this hood comes with a smooth black surface finish that can work on its own but can be painted over in the color or design of your choice.
No-Frills Install Procedure. This MPR hood is designed to replace your factory hood without the need for modifications to your vehicle. You will, however, need to install a pair of hood pins to maintain stability and when driving at high speeds. Please note that if you plan to paint this hood, it is advised you send this out to be professionally finished. This is because the hood’s proprietary material will require more specialized prep work before painting.
