This hood combines a high-performance heat-vented design with genuine 2 x 2 twill weave carbon fiber. The result is a definite track-focused design that will make your ride stand out no matter where you drive.

    Raised Function. Besides getting an awesome style, this hood will also give raise your Gladiator’s function. Specifically, the heat vents on this hood are fully functional and will efficiently dissipate engine bay heat, lowering its temperatures. This lowered temperature helps provide your engine with cooler air helping improve performance. Please note that the vent louvers are sold separately.

    Wear-Resistant Build Quality. This MPR hood utilizes high-grade carbon fiber sheets in a 2 x 2 twill weave pattern. Additionally, these carbon fiber sheets are hand-laid into specially designed molds before incorporating advanced resin. The molds are then processed using a high-tech curing procedure to produce a hood that’s extremely strong and lightweight. The finished hood is then finished with a UV-protective gloss topcoat designed to highlight the carbon fiber weave pattern.

    Practical Install Procedure. Installing this MPR hood is a practical process that’s accomplished without the need for modifications to your vehicle. However, a pair of hood pins is required to prevent the hood from overly vibrating when traveling at highway speeds. Additionally, it is advised you have this hood painted by a professional if you are considering color-matching it to your vehicle. This is because carbon fiber requires specialized prep work before painting.
