Description
Single Replacement Connecting Rod. Restore engine power transfer with this replacement Jeep Wrangler engine connecting rod. This replacement rod is made from hardened metal and designed to fit your ride precisely. Challenging to install but delivers the same performance as a stock connecting rod.
Precise Crankshaft Fitment. This single connecting rod can take many positions on the crankshaft of your Jeep’s engine if necessary. This part fits against the crankshaft precisely, making it simple to install with no modifications or adjustments.
Forged Steel Construction. This sturdy connecting rod is crafted from forged steel and designed to handle extreme levels of pressure generated from combustion within the engine itself. This rod is built to loop over the crankshaft and to provide long-term power transfer to the shaft from the engine.
Medium Installation. This part is moderately difficult to install and will take an experienced mechanic several hours to complete. It’s not necessary to fully remove the engine to replace this component, but many accessories must be removed to access the component before making the replacement.
12-Month Warranty. This single connecting rod has a 12-month warranty with it at its purchase date. The product is built to handle long-term use, but it’s protected from factor defects and material issues thanks to this warranty.
Application. This Jeep connecting rod is meant for 4.2L engines within 1973-1983 Jeep CJ5 and CJ7 vehicles.
