This cold air intake features an exclusive Mega Ram (MR) technology that’s capable of providing your engine with higher amounts of cold air, ensuring better fuel combustion. This, in turn, raises overall power numbers, and throttle response giving your truck the capability to take on more aggressive off-road trails.
No Re-Tune to ECU Required. The Injen Power-Flow Wrinkle Black Intake provides your truck with a power upgrade due to its advanced design and superior materials without re-tuning your ECU. That being said, getting an ECU re-tune in the future is always good for your truck in order to get the full potential of this cold air intake.
Superior Quality Dry Air Filter. The Injen Power-Flow Wrinkle Black Intake uses a dry air filter that’s capable of super-efficient filtration as well as maximum air flow. This is thanks to a proprietary cellulose-based filter media, and an outer layer of Nano material. Additionally, this air filter is designed for easy maintenance; just tap gently to remove excess dirt and either vacuum from the outside, or use low-pressure compressed air from the inside.
Solid Build Quality. The Injen Power-Flow Wrinkle Black Intake features an inlet tube that’s manufactured aluminum alloy for superior corrosion resistance and durability. This intake tube is precision-formed, and finished in a wrinkle black powder coating for an exact fit and stylish looks. The included aluminum heat shield protects the air filter from engine bay heat, helping extend its service life. Finally, this air intake uses heat-resistant silicone couplers and stainless steel clamps ensuring high performance despite the engine bay heat.
Hassle-Free Installation. The Injen Power-Flow Wrinkle Black Intake installs into your truck’s factory air intake location without modification. Standard hand tools are all you need, and all mounting hardware is included for a hassle-free installation.

Highly recommend doing this upgrade to your tacoma, if you aren't constantly flooring it to hear the CAI you will end up increasing your MPGs, install was pretty simple took less than 30 minutes and that was taking my time moving slow to install it.

If you want to put another 30 horses in your taco then get a cold air intake, headers, and a exhaust And you’ll be loving the power difference. It’s night and day. Be prepared to spend all day installing all 3 components and please dont try and tackle this job if you Aren't a half way decent wrencher. So if you can’t even rotate your own tires, or do basic mechanical work then go to a shop

Great kit but…. While the filter is quite generous, due to its placement it should have been a 10” filter. Also, the Injen part number for the pre-filter is inaccurate as it is to small

Injen cold air intake
I like the sound when you are getting into it. It sounds good I can tell the difference when you are in the mid to upper range of the RPMS.Also the gas mileage jumped about 2 mpg. That is if you stay out the gas pedal lol. Over all I would recommend it
