Made for the Jeep Wrangler JL, this Infotainment Steering Wheel Paddle Shifter Upgrade has a flat silver finish and allows you to shift on the fly with two paddles on the internal side of the steering wheel. Simulating manual gear selection, this upgrade kit includes a security gateway module bypass.

Great upgrade!
Paddle shifters were a great upgrade! Not had to install. Worst part was making sure the wiring harness was not pinched. Better than using the regular shifters for when we’re on trails and in the dunes.

Infotainment SiriusXM Antenna Install
I purchased the Infotainment SiriusXm satellite radio antenna and extension as my XM satellite reception was blocked due to the installation of a RTT. I purchased this instead of trying to remove the existing antenna, which would have required removing the wire and many trim pieces in order to relocate it. I mounted the antenna under the wiper cowl for a clear reception and there was already a hole to attach it. Everything was included in this kit to make the task painless. The reception is better than it ever was and no one is the wiser as there were no holes drilled or external pieces attached. Very happy and satisfied with this upgrade.

EXCELLENT!
Excellent stereo = installed myself under 1/2 hour thanks to the helpful video that they provide. Well worth the money, and steering wheel controls work just fine, after getting it installed, started the Jeep and no volume / sound, touch screened worked but no volume - turned off the Jeep, then restarted about 10 min later and EVERYTHING worked, steering wheel controls were fine= EXCELLENT SOUND SYSTEM!!!!!!

8.4 Inch Uconnect Radio
It was easy to install in my 2018 Jeep Wrangler. I like the bigger screen and it has apple car play. Only downside is to pull up car play is I have to plug it in. It does not have the ability to wirelessly connect to CarPlay. I didn’t find this out until after I made the expensive purchase. The description wasn’t clear either. I was told it would be able to prior to buying it but was told afterwards it was misinformation and would have to plug it in. I still kept it since I put in the work to install it and it is better than the stock radio my jeep radio came with but if you’re wanting it to connect wirelessly with CarPlay, this doesn’t do that.

Good quality
I had Apple CarPlay in a previous vehicle and loved it so I looked into it for my jeep and found this. The ONLY thing I miss is having volume control on my dash and not just my steering wheel. Overall the radio is nice, and a clear screen. Easy to navigate.

A Must Have Upgrade!
Upgraded from the 7.0 that came with my 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL to the 8.4 unit. The product arrived just as expected (mind you, without any padding or insulation), the installation was ridiculously simple (took less than 20 minutes), and programming was made easy by way of videos accessible directly from Infotainment or various YouTubers. I didn't, however, realize that I was getting a unit that had been pulled from another Jeep Wrangler and was also sent the wrong code to activate the full functionality of the unit itself. Luckily, I found a website that provided me with this information pretty quickly for a nominal fee of $10. The folks at Extreme Terrain were professional and completely understanding regarding my situation, once made aware of it, and offered a $20 credit as a gesture of goodwill.

Sirius XM Antenna Add-on
Installed the Sirius XM Antenna Add-on while upgrading to the 8.4” Infotainment system. Installation instructions were absent, YouTube videos not exactly on point but close enough to help. Figuring out where to put it and where to run the wire was easy enough once you got started. The biggest PITA was replacing all the interior panels removed to run the wire. Should take an afternoon to install. I’m old and pretty unskilled so it took me three afternoons! BTW, the Infotainment system swap out took about 15 minutes.
