Hawk Performance HPS Brake Pads

Installed a full set of the HPS pads on my new wrangle because of the larger 35" tires. The reason I chose the Hawk HPS pads is based in past experience with my 2011 Tundra and my 1970 240Z. In all the above mentioned vehicles I have experience improved (reduced) braking pedal effort, the pads are rotor friendly and there is very little, if any, observable brake dust build-up on the wheels. Overall I've enjoyed better brake performance compared to stock pads. Money well spent IMO! Are there other brands that perform as well? Most likely. Simply put, I just like the price and performance I have had with the Hawk HPS pads.

First brake repading after original.

Just installed both front and rear pads in my 2014 JKU. Thus far they're doing well. I will have to judge them against the Mopar original pads which lasted 119234 miles. I'll have to update this review when I have to replace these pads to review their longevity. As for installation it went very well, extremely simple to install.

A must with 35's

Stoping is so much better than stock pads. It took longer to take the wheels off than to install the pads

i am a mechanic, so installation was easy for me, you just have to know your vehicle. have not had any problems, no squeaks or vibrations. I have used this brand on all my jeeps.

Great Brakes & Great Price

These were well worth the extra investment. The stopping power has improved bigtime compared to the factory brakes. This was the first brake pad change I did on my JK, and it was quick, easy, and very straightforward. Had them installed in about 45 minutes. I highly recommend these pads!

Great performance for over sized tires on under sized budget.

I knew I was going to need to upgrade my stopping power when going to a 35" tire. These did just the trick and I noticed an immediate on and off road improvement. Best bang for the buck and a must have for safety and performance on a bigger tire.
