    Description

Ideal For Trails. When you hit the trails, it's necessary to have a tire that can handle all of the rigors and not get damaged. That's where these BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KO2 Tires come in. They are made to tackle some seriously rugged areas, but still perform great on pavement, so swapping tires before venturing out on a trail is not needed.

Rugged Constrction. BF Goodrich uses a tougher rubber, like the one developed for the Baja T/A KR2 Tire, to make this design incredibly durable. The rubber is also formulated to not tear or chip easily, elongating its life further.

Useful Features. Some clever designs make these tires great for all kinds of conditions. The shoulder features thicker rubber and extends down the entire sidewall, guarding against damage. Serrated shoulder lugs boost traction, even in slippery conditions. The 3-D sipes feature increased edges, helping them to bit into snow, ice, etc.

Application. The BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KO2 Tire has been designed to fit all 1987-2025 Jeep Wrangler models.

What is the best gear ratio to run for larger tires? When you increase the diameter of your tires, your vehicle's engine has to work harder to turn them. Naturally, this will lead to increased fuel consumption and reduced performance. So, when upgrading to a set of larger tires you should re-gear your rig to regain this lost acceleration, performance and fuel economy.

Find your original tire size and gear ratio using the chart listed below, the intersection should be your approximate RPMs at 65 MPH. Then find your new tire size and follow it across to the closest RPM to your original tires, this will be your gear ratio choice.

This chart is based on driving at 65 MPH with a 1:1 gear ratio and a manual transmission in 4th gear. Please note if your vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission your RPMs will be higher due to normal transmission and the torque converter slippage. In overdrive your RPMs will be approximately 15% to 30% less than indicated.
