Please read the description carefully!
Well, I decided to buy my dream truck and having this dream truck I knew I wanted to do a 3 inch lift with bigger tires so I decided I didn’t want a TRD step, I wanted to go with something that gave me a protection and a step up and I thought it the price point under $700. These would work perfectly. They looked great, but unfortunately, they are more of a rock rail and less of a step it’s very hard to get your foot in there and get a little hop up. I got these more for a look in for my wife because she struggles with climbing in the truck and unfortunately she still couldn’t get in the truck or out of it because there’s really not a good enough grip with that being said that is my opinion I’m sure other people have had different experiences with these. Unfortunately it didn’t work for my needs give it a shot road trips didn’t work so unfortunately I’ve got $700 worth of sides/rock rails in my garage.

Easy install- great look
From taking the old grandad running boards off to installing these, it took me roughly 2 hours by myself. I used cardboard and a chunk of wood to prevent them from scratching on my driveway. There’s only 3 brackets, so one factory mounting location is not used. It doesn’t make much of a difference as the steel construction is very solid. The look is as tight to the body as you’d want. Just enough room to use as a step. There’s maybe 1/2”-3/4” leeway to make them slightly lower. All in all, it added a very sharp, functional look to my pickup.

Very nice and heavy duty
Not really made for kids to step in and out of the vehicle since it’s pretty tucked under the truck. It only got about a few inches sticking out just to have a ledge to plant your foot on (side way or at an angle). However, it’s very nice and smooth to the contour of the truck. I really like it and look like it’s heavy duty enough to protect my under carriage. Time of installation? It took me a little over an hour doing it myself and I like mine to be fit and finished just the way I wanted.
