Note: This product requires the Garvin Adventure Rack (for 2-door or 4-door JKs) in order to be installed properly.

1. Carefully open the package using a box cutter or knife (Figure A) and pliers (Figure B). Ensure the wind deflector and hardware are included and undamaged.

2. Optional: For easiest installation, remove the front brackets and crossbar of the Garvin Adventure Rack from the vehicle using a 5mm Allen wrench (Figure C) in order to install the wind deflector on the ground.

3. Connect a top mounting bracket to the wind deflector using a 5/16 x 3/4 carriage bolt, washer, and thin nylon nut (supplied) (Figure D).

4. Connect the other three top brackets to the wind deflector using the same process as Step 3.

5. Place the front brackets and crossbar on the ground (Figure F).

6. Place the wind deflector underneath the crossbar (Figure G) and slide the lower support bracket onto each of the upward-facing bolts.

7. Hand-tighten the 5/16 flat washers and nylon locknuts (Figure H).

8. Position the wind deflector at the angle it will remain at once installed, then tighten down the locknuts using a 13mm socket wrench (Figure I).

9. Before completely tightening the locknuts, ensure the wind deflector is centered between the two front brackets (Figure J).

10. Reinstall the front brackets and crossbar to the vehicle and reconnect to the rest of the Garvin Adventure Rack.
