    Description

    Functions as Superior Replacement of Stock Axle Shaft. Whether you need to replace a worn-out factory outer front axle shaft or something that can handle added torque, you need not look any further than the G2 27 Spline Dana 30/44 Outer Front Axle. Sporting a heavy-duty manufacture and compatible with Dana 30 and 44 axles, this 27-spline 6.11-inch stub shaft is recessed for producing an increased turning radius, and it is machined for a full-circle clip. Overall, this item is made to be a more robust application than you can ever hope for from your factory part. Notably, this shaft requires the 5-760X u-joint size.

    Durable and Corrosion-Resistant. Forged from 1541H steel and induction heat-treated for additional torsional strength, this item is manufactured to go through years of road and environmental harshness to provide continued proper function. In fact, some critical areas of the shaft have added material to increase sturdiness. Plus, its black powdercoat finish acts as an additional layer of protection against rust.

    Covered by 10-Year Limited Warranty. For a period of 10 years after the purchase date, G2 Axle & Gear warrants this axle shaft to be free from defects in workmanship and materials. Also covering the axle is a 90-day finish warranty.

    Expert-Level Installation. With some drilling involved, this axle requires an expert level of technical skill to install, which is expected to take up to two hours to complete.

    Application. The G2 27 Spline Dana 30/44 Outer Front Axle fits all 1987–2006 Jeep Wrangler YJ & TJ models. Shipped with a black finish, it is sold individually.
