Its durable build and bold black color give your Jeep a more aggressive appeal while utilizing your vehicle’s OE plate lights, OE trailer plug, OE 2-inch receiver hitch, and OE backup sensors (if applicable). Plus, it comes with (2) D-rings to further enhance your Jeep’s off-road functionality.
Brawny Rear Bumper Build. Even when it’s constantly pelted by sand, rocks, rain, and hail, the Mako Rear Bumper won’t develop damage so easily. Thanks to its 0.1875-inch thick steel plating construction and black powder-coated finish, it has the strength to endure the elements, keep up with your Jeep’s heavy-duty applications, and last you a good long time.
Easy, Bolt-On Installation. The Mako Rear Bumper is designed to complement your Jeep’s specifications, with or without backup sensors. It also doesn’t need to be drilled onto your vehicle to ensure a perfect fit. As a result, installing it will be an easy task that’ll take no more than 2 hours to complete.
90-Day Warranty. A 90-day warranty against defects in material and workmanship with every powder coated Mako Rear Bumper sold. Great Bumper
Great product. Installed on my 2020 Gladiator. Love the look. Only had one issue. If you have the back up sensors in your factory bumper. The brackets will not come out to use in the new bumper. Took some figuring out but had to buy new brackets from mopar to mount the sensors in the new bumper. They wont stay in either. Had to be super careful and super glue them in. Been around a year now. No issues.

No imperfections that I've found in the powder coat, or the steel. Its either my Jeep in particular, or the two center bolt holes on the bumper, but the bolts do not sit flush under the license plate, its a non issue since the plate sits far enough away that the bolts didn't interfere. Says you need to buy new bezels and brackets for the plate lights, if installing on any trim higher than a sport, with LED lights. the factory LED Plate light bezels and brackets were the same off my Willy's as the ones I ordered from my Dealership only took me and my brother about 1.5 hours to remove old bumper, plate lights, and trailer plugs and install the new bumper. Installing the Plate lights into the bumper is a bit of a pain, you have to coax the clips of the brackets to snap over the bezel. holes in bumper are oversized for the light assembly's, allows for some fine tuning of the lights though there may be a gap around one side of the bezel. Picked this bumper over some of the cheaper options because, it mounts using the factory 6 bolts instead of 4.

Love the look but.....
I love the look of the new bumper on my Jeep. out of the box I noticed a couple small imperfection on the bumper that I had to cover up with some touch up paint. Also it is not made clear that this will only work with the sensors out of the Rubicon bumpers. The sensors out of my Overland were not compatible.

18 Month Check-In
I love the looks of this bumper. Like the stubby, like the textured finish. Unfortunately that finish isn’t built to last. I’ve had this on my Gladiator for roughly 18-months. The rust is starting to get out of control. Both sides where the hoop is welded on have significant rust developing. The skid plate, purchased separately, has significant rust across the entire face. Yes, I do live through Michigan winters which include road salt…but, even in the coldest of weather I hit a self serve car wash at minimum once a week to clean the road muck off. For the price of the bumper and skid plate I’d expect a much tougher finish. On another note, install was super easy and straightforward. I said afternoon for installation but you could easily knock this out in an hour with no distractions.

I’ve purchased a number of Jeep bumpers and this hands-down is the best. Rugged and of the highest quality. Easy to install factory fog lights and the installation of the bumper itself was quick and easy. Great access for winch installation as well. Highly recommended!!

Great looking, but minor issue
I loved the look of this bumper, but the holes for the 3/4 inch shackles were not evenly sized, as in one fit and one did not. Had to dremmel it out and paint it to get the 2nd shackle to fit. Also, this thing is solid and heavy!!!!

Rear sensor holes are too big for a 2024
The rear sensors in the stock bumper are a completely different design than they used to be and the holes in the bumper are way too big. Now I'm stuck having to search for OEM inserts for previous styles to make this work. Great bumper but can't install it until I find the parts I need for the sensors
