Description
Tough Terrain Tire. The Falken Wildpeak M/T Tire is an ideal tire to endure the most demanding conditions. Thanks to proprietary Falken technology, the tire is constructed to handle anything the road throws at your Jeep Wrangler, especially rocks and debris from the trail.
Technologically Advanced. Falken utilized two technological theories to create a structurally superior tire. Duraspec Three Ply Sidewall was developed to take any kind of beating. Two high ply turn-ups give your Wrangler another layer of protection. Heat Diffuser Technology in the lower sidewall keeps down the heat in the internal tire components. Keeping that area of the tire cool is vital to a more stable ride.
Keep the Rocks Out. Rocks causing damage to your tires is infuriating. Falken built this tire to withstand the pebbles of the trail. Rugged and rigid tread blocks have step-down supports on the center blocks. That improves stability and keeps stones out of the grooves. The Wildpeak M/T Tire has mud and rock defense features which keep the grooves clean, improves traction and guards against puncture wounds. An aggressive upper sidewall and offset shoulder blocks also combat rock scars.

What is the best gear ratio to run for larger tires? When you increase the diameter of your tires, your vehicle's engine has to work harder to turn them. Naturally, this will lead to increased fuel consumption and reduced performance. So, when upgrading to a set of larger tires you should re-gear your rig to regain this lost acceleration, performance and fuel economy.
Find your original tire size and gear ratio using the chart listed below, the intersection should be your approximate RPMs at 65 MPH. Then find your new tire size and follow it across to the closest RPM to your original tires, this will be your gear ratio choice.
This chart is based on driving at 65 MPH with a 1:1 gear ratio and a manual transmission in 4th gear. Please note if your vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission your RPMs will be higher due to normal transmission and the torque converter slippage. In overdrive your RPMs will be approximately 15% to 30% less than indicated.

Falken Wildpeak’s Rock
Bought these mounted and balanced to Mammoth 8 Aluminum wheels to upgrade and upsize my old stock wheels and tires. They are balanced perfectly quiet on the road and track perfectly straight even over bumps and highway joints and absorb bumps incredibly well without throwing transmitting it to your steering wheel. They look amazing and are offset -6 via the new wheels I bought with these and I absolutely love the look on my 2014 Jeep Sahara unlimited. Driver thru a massive storm with high winds and terrible downpour right after they were mounted and these stuck like glue! The 60mph lateral winds on the other hand showed me I need to update some of my substandard oem steering components. I highly recommend these tires and the mammoth 8 wheels and are mounted with sensors and balanced perfectly by Extreme Terrain.
