Description
Non-Stretch Strap. Factor 55's Shorty Strap II, manufactured by the Bubba Rope company for Factor 55, are not high stretch recovery straps for your ride, but are instead very low stretch polyester for such uses as adding a solid recovery point to a vehicle that doesn't have one. They can even be used for field repairs such as pulling on a bent tie rod with the Shorty Strap and your winch.
Construction and Appearance. The Factor 55 Shorty Strap II's wide, flat design makes them cling smoothly to round surfaces such as nerf bars, portions of a grille guard, and so on, rather than twisting when pull force is applied. These versatile straps are made just 3 feet (36-inch) long to make them less stretchy and to limit the amount of force released if they break.
Simple, Tough Design. The material used is low stretch polyester webbing, with an overall weight for the strap of 1 pound, 1 oz. The eyes and webbing seams are reinforced with Cordura abrasion guard.
Warranty. Three feet long and 2-inch wide, the Shorty Strap II is a USA-made recovery and towing aid that comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
Application. The Factor 55 Shorty Strap II is designed to be a universal item.
