Rear axle

Nice quality looking axle. It took a whole evening to install and get everything back together. Let the rear cover set up over night and then filled with fluid the next morning.

Good axle

Good axle, simple enough install. I'm dinging quality and bang due to an issue with packing. The wheel studs and bearing and seal were meant to be in a sealed, padded envelope. When I opened the box, this envelope was unsealed and the bearing, seal, and wheel studs where loose in the box with the axle. Also, there were only 4/5 wheel studs so I had to go buy an extra.

Value price, good reputation decent parts.

I purchased this axle, wheel stud, bearing and wheel seal set, as Richmond's value line. Im impressed with the axle. Looks well made, fit great. Seal seemed like an average cheaper parts brand seal. Worked fine. I was surprised and happy to see the wheel bearing was stamped made in the usa. Seemed quality. Only downside of the kit was the wheel studs. One spun in the axle and rounded the ridges/bite on the stud. And they all went in a little too easy for a typical wheel stud. Poor bite in the axle. Not impressed with the wheel studs. Ended up removing the oem ones and installing them with no issues. And the used oem ones seemed to bite better even though used. If they swapped out the studs in this kit it would be one awesome kit. All in all happy with the purchase and very happy with the price.

Easy install and from what I can tell, steel is steel - if it fits (which it does) it works.
