Heavy-Duty, Polyurethane Construction. As your Jeep’s suspension cycles, it generally has two limiting factors: extension and compression. Full-extension occurs when your Jeep’s axle moves to the furthest point from the frame/ body, often limited by limiting straps or shocks, while full compression occurs as the axle moves upwards and closest to the frame/ body. As the primary line of defense from unwanted contact between the axle and frame, bump stops are an incredibly important component for any suspension. Constructed from premium, high-grade polyurethane, these Heavy-Duty Front Bump Stops are designed to take all of the damage and abuse that you and your Jeep TJ can throw at them. High-density polyurethane is much firmer and more resilient than the rubber that OE bump stops are manufactured from. Where rubber bends, flexes, compresses, and degrades, polyurethane holds strong, assuring that no unwanted suspension or tire contact will take place, even under full compression in the roughest conditions.

For Use With 1.75-Inch Lifts. When lifting your Jeep and installing oversize tires, the bump stop contact area must be moved downwards to accommodate for the larger tire that would otherwise contact the chassis under full compression. This can be handled through either bump stop drop brackets, or premium, longer bump stops like these.
