How to Install DV8 Off-Road 4 in. Replacement LED Fog Lights (07-18 Wrangler JK) on your Jeep Wrangler

1. Carefully open the package using a box cutter or knife (Figure A) and ensure the lights are included and undamaged. 


2. On the driver's side, remove the four screws holding the current fog light in place using a Philips head screwdriver (Figure B).


3. Unplug the wiring harness to the current fog light (Figure C).


4. Remove the current fog light from the mounting location (Figure D).


5. Place the DV8 Replacement LED fog light into the mounting location (Figure E).


6. Using a Philips head screwdriver, return the four screws into place (Figure F).


7. Connect the wiring to the factory lighting harness. This can be done one of two ways:

  • Using a splice connector (shown), tap into the factory wiring harness (Figure G) and then compress the connector to secure the connection.
  • Using a butt connector, cut the wiring harness, then remove ΒΌ" of the wire guard and connect the LED pigtail and the wiring harness from each end of the butt connector before compressing the connector to secure the connection.

8. Wrap the connection with electrical tape.

9. Repeat Steps 2-8 on the passenger side, as well.
