Description
Construction. This sun screen from Dirty Dog only covers the front seats, but it covers them in a big way. It eliminates glare for better visibility and a better driving and riding experience, yet it does allow some light to come through. This impressive product can block 70% of UV rays from the sun.
Design. There is no header bracket required, which makes both installation and taking it off a breeze. You also don't need to remove it to close the roof, and it's perfect for either a hard top or soft top.
Application. This sunscreen fits 2003 - 2006 TJ Wranglers. Use the drop down box to select your TJ's year range. This sun screen can be added and removed quickly and easily.

Not as easy as they say!
The install is much more invasive than they tell you. The YouTube video from DirtyDog.com has this guy just putting straps and hooks where they need to go. The one MAJOR thing they left out was that you must remove all of the Torq screws holding your top in place so you can lift the top up a bit to install the rear straps. I used a spray paint can to lift that top up. Once I did that, the install was pretty simple. The video shows that the DirtyDog tag is supposed to be on the inside. Must have been an older video. If you install with the tag facing the inside, your straps will not connect properly. So, take top screws out (8) so you can prop it up and DD tag facing outside of the vehicle for correct install.

Enjoy having the sun screen, but its total install and fitment is a little quirky, and a pain to get the straps feed through the roll bar and tight.

Works as advertised. Not as dark as I was hoping but definitely gives some good shade. The instructions don't have the greatest pictures. It's much easier to do if you take the back half of your top off. Really quick install once I removed the back.

Perfect Sunshade
I had been looking for the right sunshade for my 2022 Wrangler. This one is perfect!! It was very easy to install. Although I could install it on my own, it was easier to have someone help and it was installed quicker. Amazing how something so simple makes the difference. No wind issues, yet still has same 'wind-in-your-hair' feeling with the Freedom Panels removed. I did take mine off when done, but I can also easily keep it on and put the panels back on. It is just a matter of looks. Definitely recommend!!!

Works great but
If you are taller this may not be for you. Fits great and easy install but the top of my head does touch it. I’m 6 foot tall. Top of my bed barely hits the sun cover. I might be able to adjust it so it won’t but if you are taller than me it might be a really issue.

This is a great shade if you are tall
The photo is misleading. This unit is actually a single piece that goes from the windshield, over the center roll bar and covers the rear seats. You can roll the rear section up and tie it off if you don't want that much coverage. The center roll bar lifts the netting so it doesn't rub the top of driver's head like other "front only net" solutions. Other solutions all sat too low in the opening for me and rubbed on top of my head. Install of the front corners is not like stated in the instructions. Just pull it to the side rather than try to fish through the windshield gap. It works perfect and is quick and easy. I could never get it fed thru the windshield gap on my '24 Wrangler. Nice heavy duty quality product. The straps are far superior to other solutions that use bungie cords.

These aren’t bad. They latch on securely and make no noise. I’d prefer if the screen extended to the roll bars. I also ended up with some extra strap length that I had to creatively tuck out of the way.

Best Sunscreen Ever!
Super easy install, fits with no flapping. Easily drops interior temps in bright sun by 5-10 degrees. My passengers were very grateful to have the open air top with sun protection.

Ready For Summertime!
These were so easy to install. It took me about a half hour after I figured out where all the straps run. After that, since I'm a perfectionist, I spent another twenty minutes or so getting them in the the best position and tension. They are well made, look great, and you can leave them on all year long! My soft top goes up and down with no problem whatsoever.
