See Better when Reversing. If you're tired of struggling to see while backing up your vehicle, the Diode Dynamics C1 Sport Hitch Mount LED Pod Reverse Kit is exactly what you need. This kit is designed to provide a brighter backup than stock bulbs thanks to its patented TIR optics and high-powered LEDs. Its automatic reverse activation offers to make backing up safer and easier.
Additional DRL and Brake Light. Additionally, this kit functions as an additional running light while driving and has a high-power red brake light function that automatically activates when brakes are applied. This SafetyStrobe 4th Brake Light can be disabled. There is also an optional override functionality for your convenience.
Installation. Installing the Diode Dynamics C1 Sport Hitch Mount LED Pod Reverse Kit is a breeze as it will simply insert into your hitch receiver. The wiring also features a simple plug-and-play operation. With no tools needed, the installation will only take about 5 minutes.
Warranty. This product comes with a limited 8-year warranty.

Great backup light
Factory taillights leave a lot to be desired when backing up. After figuring out that I couldn’t piece together a trailer adapter to simply plug it in. I just spliced it into the taillight it was pretty easy. Fished the wire up from the bottom through the rubber gasket and zip tied the wire to keep it out of the way. Lights a lot more area so now my son can see all around him while backing up.

Plug and play super easy 5 minute install ! Makes up for the lack of output from the oem taillights . Also provides a wider throw of light making the reverse camera more effective at night .

Hitchmount LED light
The light itself is good, but the supplied wiring harness is not designed for the Jeep. The harness is two short and you need to be creative to keep it away from the muffler. Also need to add heat shield tape to protect the harness and connectors.

Extra Bright, Nice Solid Build
The stock reverse lights on my Jeep are very dim and don't do the job. Adding this simple kit makes All the Difference! Much cheaper and more effective than completely changing your tail lights, which I actually tried first already, plus I don't have the reflectors on the bumper where some other lights might normally be another option. I didn't go with the brake light and strobe feature, but I'm sure those are equally well made. They say that using a locking hitch pinch can prevent theft, but I don't think most passers-by will even notice this little light tucked into the receiver. Plus, the spare tire pretty much hides it from view anyway. And Plus, I've heard of those locks seizing up over time and causing havoc for getting them loose when you suddenly need to. Get yourself one of these and see what you are about to back over before it's too late!
