How to Install Delta Waterproof Rear Tire Mount LED Third Brake Light Lug Nuts on your 87-18 Jeep Wrangler YJ, TJ, JK & JL

1. Remove your spare tire from the back of your vehicle.

2. Test to see if the lug-nut lite fits well inside the lug-nut hole. If the lug-nut lite does not fit inside the hole it may be necessary to trim some of the plastic stem of each light as shown on the back page.

3. Find power & ground wires going to the third brake light & determine which is power & ground.

4. Connect the (-) Black wire from the lug nut light pigtail to the ground wire going to the 3rd brake light using the provided blue snap-lock connector.

5. Connect the ( ) White Wire from the lug nut light pigtail to the positive wire going to the 3rd brake light using the provided blue snap-lock connector.

6. Hook up the lug-nut led's to test the system before installing the spare tire.

7. Put a washer (provided) on each one of the lug studs on the jeep's spare tire mount, (to give enough space, not to fully crush the wires)

8. Feed both lug-nut light wires through the lug holes on the wheel & raise spare tire to the spare tire mount on the back of vehicle.

9. Before tightening the lugs down! Be sure to connect the wires to the lights & pull on them from the inside while tightening the lugs, (to help secure the lights in the lug hole)

10. Test the system. The Lug-Nut-Lites should go on together with your standard brake lights each time you step on brakes.
