      Description

      Push Power and Protection. Heat is a constant source of damage to your Jeep. The harder you push the engine to make it up over a steep climb, the more heat builds up under the hood. With the DEI Black Exhaust Wrap, you can funnel that heat where it belongs--into your exhaust system. Higher temperatures in the exhaust pipes mean better flow, while lower temperatures under the hood mean better performance.

      Fiberglass Construction.  Using durable DEI Black Exhaust Wrap gives you an added layer of insulation for your exhaust system. The fiberglass construction adds considerable heat resistance right where you want it, so you don't need to worry about exhaust flow or heat under the hood. Adding HT Silicone Coating spray will help your Exhaust Wrap last longer and fill in any gaps.

      Cure-in-Place Installation. Putting on this Exhaust Wrap is simple and easy. You can soak the wrap prior to installation to make it easier. Wrap the exhaust pipes tightly, using a 1/4" overlap for best insulation. Cover the entire length of the pipe. You may want to use some stainless steel locking ties to ensure a tight fit at the endpoints. Once the wrap is in place, a few light coats of HT Silicone Coating spray can help with wrap integrity. You'll need to wait for each coat to dry before reinstalling the header. Once installed, the wrap will cure in place when temperatures reach 400-degrees.

      Application. This DEI Black Exhaust Wrap fits on all 1987-2024 Jeep Wrangler YJ, TJ, JK and JL models.
