Description. A tougher version of our lightweight shackle

      MADE IN THE USA

Like our regular shackle, the RUGGEDIZED Soft Shackle is made in the USA from synthetic winchline and is exceptionally strong and ridiculously lightweight. To make it tougher, we included a tightly woven protective sheath and a special coating to provide abrasion resistance and prevent soil or other contaminants from working their way into the fibers. Narrower, longer, and with a wider eye than our regular soft shackle, the Deadman RUGGEDIZED Soft Shackle has a minimum breaking strength (MBS) of 45,000lbs and a working load limit (WLL) of 15,000lbs.

Why do we say soft shackles are safer than metal bow shackles (often called D-rings)? With a soft shackle, you remove more metal from your recovery system, thereby lessening the potential for serious harm in the event of a break. As a bonus, soft shackles are often stronger than their metal counterparts and are far lighter, more versatile, and much easier to work with.
